Need affordable home owners insurance in Massachusetts?

We are moving to Massachusetts and buy a house there. I have a quote home insurance for owners and lenders tried through my current provider I have several vehicles with the hope of obtaining a discount for the grouping of the house in it. (I Geico) They said they will not secure our house because we have horses. Does anyone know a good company that will ensure not too expensive a house with horses in Massachusetts? I think Merrimack will provide a house with horses, in MA, and so is Amica. At least when I was an officer in MA 15 years ago, they would. What you really need to do is contact a local independent agent – local for your future home in MA, and ask them what carriers in MA, you will, with horses.
